Funding and Loans

RSM Academy of Performing Arts prides itself on being a private institution holding independence over our course structure, teaching strategies and future developments as an Academy. This does prevent our students from being eligible to apply for Student Finance, however as we accept payments termly, this can replace a long-term loan.

Funding Options

Professional and Career Development Loans are offered by commercial banks and can be used to fund work related study. There are various terms surrounding this type of loan which concerns; the amount available to borrow, the length of the repayment period and for how many years the loan will fund the students training. The interest on the loan will be paid by the Government during the training period and for one month after completion. Following this, repayment commences as with a standard loan product.

It is important to thoroughly research all available loan products prior to application for funds to ensure that a fully informed decision is made regarding whether this payment method is suitable for you.

It may be possible to partially or even fully fund your course fees through sponsorship from a charitable trust, local business or scheme. Your local council may also provide a small grant towards the cost of fees and living expenses. Further details on grants on sponsorships are available online, along with relevant contacts for your local council.
